A History of NOT SO Totally Random Trinbagonian Things tackles the History of Trinidad and/or Tobago, in a way that is meant to be accessible, enjoyable and educational to all interested in the history of this twin island Republic. The book is divided into twenty nine deliberately short chapters, each of which deals with a specific theme, event, or process in our past, from the so-called discovery of both territories by Christopher Columbus to the rise of the Oil Boom of the 1970s and a whole lot in between.
Its main intent is intended to shed light on critical aspects of our past that remain, either widely unknown, generally misunderstood, or have been insufficiently explained in more traditional history texts. Accomplishing this will help to provide citizens of this country and anyone else interested our history with vital and useful knowledge of our past, an endeavor that is well worth the effort.
